What the texts are
The texts are called Axis 9 Alerts. Here is what they cover.
Updates about the first energy powder run: when ordering opens, a payment link for a reserved tier, shipping news, and replies to questions you text us. Ambassadors also receive notes about their referral tags and rewards.
How you join
You get texts only if you asked for them. Two boxes can ask. Each one starts unchecked, and neither is part of the email signup. You don’t have to tick it to join the list, reserve a tier or buy anything. Ticking a box is agreeing to the sentence beside it.
On the first-access form and the campaign form, the box says:
Text me when ordering opens. I agree to receive automated text messages from Axis 9 about the first batch and my order. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
On those two forms the number field appears once the box is ticked. We keep a number only together with the sentence you agreed to.
If you hand out our tags, we ask you before we add you as an ambassador. The sentence is:
I agree to receive automated text messages from Axis 9 about my referral tags and rewards. Consent is not a condition of anything else we offer. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
How often
Message frequency varies; typically a few messages around the launch, never more than one a day.
What it costs
We don’t charge for texts. Message and data rates may apply. That is what your phone plan charges for a message.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any text from us. You get one message back:
Axis 9 Alerts: you're unsubscribed and won't get more texts from us. Reply START to rejoin.
Your number is marked opted out everywhere it appears with us, and we send nothing more. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT do the same.
To rejoin, reply START. YES or UNSTOP work too. That restores a consent you gave before. A number that never agreed stays out.
If you need help
Reply HELP or INFO and you get:
Axis 9 Alerts: updates about the first batch. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel.
Or email us. The address is support email: not set yet.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We keep a record of whether each text we send is delivered.
What we keep
- Your number.
- The exact sentence you agreed to, and when you agreed to it.
- Every text we send you and every text you send us, with its delivery status.
How we handle the rest of your data, and how to have it deleted, is on the privacy page.
When we text
Between 8 am and 9 pm in your time zone. On the forms, we take the time zone from where you were when you ticked the box; when we can’t tell, and for ambassadors, we use Eastern time. The one exception is when you text us and are waiting on an answer.
